Carbs can help you lose fat but eating the wrong kind of carbs can lead to weight gain. These bad carbs are typically defined as any food that gets almost all of its calories from refined sugar or refined white flour.

Low-fat dairy products are great fat fighting products. Studies have even shown that people who took 3 servings of dairy daily lost more weight than those who didn’t at all.

Try eating unsaturated fats which help speed up your metabolism. These are found in foods like nuts, olives, olive oil, and salmon. They also make you feel full for longer periods of time, which keeps you from craving more food.

Having carbohydrates in your diet is also important since they keep your energy levels up. Try eating healthier carbs which can be found in whole fruits, vegetables, and products made from whole grain rather than cutting carbs completely.

Although there are no concrete scientific evidences that back up the idea that you can reduce double chin size by toning the facial muscles, a lot of people swear by facial toning exercises.

To start do stick out your lower lip as far as you can and then scoop it up and over your top lip. Hold for 10 seconds, and release. Do this at least 30 to 40 each day.

Hydrating to Reduce Double Chin Size

The first thing that you noticed if you’re bloated is your face. One of the biggest factors that bloat you is sodium and sugary carbs. This is because carbs attract water making muscles and fat deposits swell in size. And as for sodium, it causes fluids to remain in the body in an effort to dilute it.

Try cutting down on them and you can see results after a few weeks.

Drinking at least 8 glasses a day can help you beat bloating and reduce double chin size and drink 2 – 3 more glasses a day if your face and hands are still puffy. Also remember to avoid sodium, sweets, and white flour products until your bloating is under control.
