Although some might find “Love handles” attractive or cute but it still is a serious problem because fatty deposits accumulate on the back and sides of the waist which are not just unpleasant to look at but they’re also unhealthy. Fortunately, you can get rid of yourself of love handles by making small changes to your lifestyle.

Cardio to Lose Fat All Over

Some of you might think that if you just target your abdominal fat and nothing else you’ll probably get rid of it right away, but this is not true. There’s no such thing as spot reduction. In fact, if you want to get rid of love handles, you also have to get rid of the fat everywhere.

Exercises like bicycle crunches, captain’s chair leg raises, and vertical leg crunches help you get rid of love handles faster because they target on working your obliques.

Bicycle crunches are crunches done by lying down on your back and doing crunch-twists while pedaling your legs as if you were riding a bicycle while captain’s chair leg raises needs a captain’s’ chair which is a common fixture in most gyms and lastly vertical leg crunches are like regular crunches but with your legs raised perpendicular to the ground.

I know that you might think that it might be a hoax or a scam but there are really fat burning foods out there that can speed up your metabolism. By eating the right foods, you can help your body burn through its extra fat and get rid of those love handles.

Doctors recommend that one should eat foods that help get rid of belly fat which are olive oil, nuts, and salmon which are good for the heart. Also try to eat 3 servings of calcium a day either from dairy products or from green, leafy vegetables.

And not to mention that these foods are digested slowly which means that you feel fuller longer. Try adding three cups of green tea daily to your diet for an extra fat-burning boost

Dress To Impress

Last but not least, clothes can sometimes make you look like you have love handles. So check your clothes if they fit properly. If you’ve worked hard to lose your love handles, don’t ruin the effect by squeezing into jeans that leave you overflowing!
